Instructions for use (typical session)

1. Place the launcher 1 m from a wall, set to 3 m to start.
2. Connect via USB, turn on (press 3 s). Select the distance (successive presses).
3. Show your dog how to drop the ball into the well. Tip : guide with your hand, reward each attempt.
4. The IR sensor scans every ~10 seconds: the ball is launched automatically . Repeat 5–8 throws, then pause .

“Learn to File” Program (3 steps)

1. Associating the well (1–2 days): hand over the well, “ drop ” → treat. Repeat until the dog releases the ball easily.
2. Short distance (2–3 days): throw by hand, ask “ release ” over the well, reward immediately. Thrower over 3 m.
3. Partial autonomy : gradually move back; reward 1 out of 2 times, then 1 out of 3 times. Move to 6m/9m if space allows.

Safety tips (important)

• Supervision : Interactive toy, use under adult supervision .
• 5 cm diameter : suitable for small dogs only . Risk of ingestion/choking for medium/large dogs. Never use with dogs capable of swallowing a 5 cm ball.
• No chewing : replace any damaged ball. This toy is not a chew toy.
• Clear area : no stairs/obstacles; remove fragile knick-knacks.
• Children : do not allow children to use this product without an adult.

Maintenance & proper use

• Cleaning : Wipe the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth; keep dry.

Troubleshooting (Quick FAQ)

The ball is not launched. Check: (1) the device is on (OK light), (2) the ball is properly in the well, (3) no obstruction, (4) stable USB power supply, (5) wait for the scan cycle (~10 s).

The noise startles my dog. Start at a distance of 3m, associate a treat with the throw; gradually increase the distance.

The distance is inconsistent. Is the surface too soft? Adjust the angle, move back from the wall, try another ball (same diameter/weight).

For whom is it not suitable?

• Medium/large dogs likely to swallow a 5cm ball .
• Dogs are very destructive with balls (prefer dedicated tug/chew games).
